The Undersecretary

Pablo Berazaluce Maturana

Political Scientist, Bachelor in Social Science from the Diego Portales University. From the beginning, Berazaluce has dedicated his professional career to the legislative action and to the development of public policies for the benefit of the country.

Currently Undersecretary of Fisheries and Aquaculture, he was the legislative coordinator of the Ministry of Economy, Development and Tourism providing technical advice on fisheries and aquaculture. In April 2016, he becomes Vice Chair of the Fisheries Research Institute Board.

Until 2014, he was partner and Director of Conexxa Consultores. This company provided strategic advice on public issues and crisis management in the country.

Previously, he worked as the Chief of Cabinet of the National Directorate of the Agriculture and Livestock Service (SAG) between 2009 and 2011.

In 2006, Pablo Berazaluce worked as advisor of the Political and Institutional Affairs Division of the Ministry General Secretariat of the Presidency (Minsegpres), participating in different draft laws.
